This slim line card is a bit larger than the ones I have posted previously. The card base is 8" x 8 1/2" folded in half. The folded size is 4" x 8 1/2".
The top layer of Whisper White cardstock is 7/3/4" by 8 1/4".
The card can be mailed in a legal envelope and you can stamp on the envelope to give your project a "super" elegant finish. I love adding the extra touches to the envelopes and the inside of the card.
Poinsettia Petals is a lovely suite of cards. If you have not checked it out, do so today on the Stampin' Up! website. The paper, the stamps the die the ribbon - they are just perfect for creating Christmas cards. For this card, I used the amazing Red Velvet paper - the colors are rich and add a special touch.
The suite includes lovely beaded pearls to add to the center of your flowers. I love the look of these pearls but wanted to see what other centers I might be able to use and waalaa! I love the way the little "bundle" of sequins did the trick.
I added a little puddle of glue and added the sequins then added another little puddle and put more sequins on top. Just Perfect!
The ribbon is a combination of the Real Red Sheer ribbon and the Snowflake Spendor ribbon over the top. JUST gorgeous!
I have used the Peace and Joy stamp set to stamp the words in versamark on Seaside Spray cardstock. Then I embossed with Silver Embossing powder and die cut the words with the Joy dies. This bundle will be a "go-to" for your Christmas crafting needs.
And the envelope - it is just a legal envelope with the poinsettia flowers stamped in Real Red Ink. Don't forget to stamp the inside too .
