Envelopes for Slim Line Cards

Slim Line cards are fun! And Easy! The challenge might be the envelope. But WAIT - they are fun and easy too. Check out this pattern that I created and then watch the video to see just how easy.

You can download the PDF pattern

If you want to make a larger envelope, you will need to increase the width & length of the paper accordingly.

For a card base that is 8" x 8 1/2", use a piece of cardstock or Designer Series Paper that is 9" by 11". Score portrait at 2 3/4" and  7"
Score landscape at 1 1/2" and 10 1/2"

Want to see how to assemble the envelope, just check out this quick video

If you noticed the blooper at the end of the video - here is the correct measurement for the accent paper on the envelope flap.

3 7/8" x 1 3/8" - round corners to match the flap.

Of course, if you don't want to create your envelope, you can use a legal sized envelope - it fits both sizes of cards perfectly. You can even stamp on the envelope to add some pizzazz to your creation.

Come back tomorrow to see more examples of Slim Line Cards and Envelopes.

Don't miss out on the Designer Series Paper Sale - you can make even more fun envelopes!
