Get ready for gift giving with this class. Make lovely or fun tags for gifts, gift cards with matching envelopes or gift card/money holders. This is a MIX & MATCH class. You order what you want, Then Join me for hot cocoa & crafting fun as we get into the Holiday Spirit.

 

 

HOW MUCH

Each unit is $5. You pick the unit(s) & style you like – feel free to choose multiple styles or make them all one style.

·        Unit -Gift cards & envelopes – 4 for $5

·        Unit - Tags – 8 for $5

·        Unit - Gift card/money holders - 2 for $5

For example – 2 units of gift card/money holders (style 1 & 2), 1 unit of gift tags (1 of each style) and 1 unit of gift cards & envelopes. (Total would be $20.)

Prepayment is required.

Masking Paper Technique

 I was totally delighted by this idea from fellow demonstrator Lou Kitzelman from Australia!

Create a wonderful gift set - perfect for holiday gifting! I'm sure you have friends who would love to receive this wonderful home made gift!

The card set is created with a clever masking technique. I used 3 pastel colors and the images and greetings from the stamp set Hand Penned Petals. Plus the tag using the Celebrate with Tags stamp set.

Each card is finished in the inside and has a matching envelope.

The set is packaged in a craft Gift box from Stampin' Up! and the ribbon and tag coordinate perfectly.

You will love using this fun Masking Technique:

Stamp your outline image in Black Memento ink.

Cover the front with 3 strips of masking paper, spaced however you like, You can have them all the same width or a variety of widths (like mine). Then use the blending brush to sponge ink on the card. Use as much color as you want. I kept mine fairly light and used varigated depth of color to get the ombre effect. You can try it and change it to suit your taste.

Tip - masksng paper can be extra tacky and tear your paper. test your masking paper first and it it has a tendency to tear the paper, presess it against your shirt or pants leg a couple of times to reduce the tackiness.

Rays of Light and Gold Foiling

 

This beautiful card was inspired by Shannon West, a DDM for Stampin' Up! I stamped the Rays of Light image on the Bermuda Bay card stock, then sprinkled it with Heat and stick powder. Don't cover the whole "ray" - just cover the part where you want the gold to stick. Heat with the heat tool just long enough to melt the powder. Then place the Gilded Leafing on top and rub it over the card - remove excess foil. You will be delighted with the results.

I added the gold branches of pine and pine cones (Soft Suede cardstock on top of Early Espresso). I created the greeting with gold embossing powder. Perfect Card for my Christmas Card recipients.
