The Masking Technique can Add Some Fun to Your Creations!

Latte Love is a delightful Stamp & Die bundle from Stampin’ Up! I have really enjoyed using it for a variety of cards. But I had not thought about filling it with flowers, until I saw a version done by Monique de Kok from the Netherlands (https://www.moniquedekok.com/). She put pencils in her cup. What a fun idea!

To make the flowers look like they are in the pot, use the masking technique.

Stamp the cup on masking paper and cut it out.

Then ink up the stamp but be careful NOT to ink the rim of the cup … the part that goes around the back. You can use a cue tip to remove any ink that you get on the rim before you stamp. See the pictures.

Stamp the cup on the cardstock panel. Place the masking paper cut out on top and stamp the flowers or any other items you may want to store in your cup. Have fun creating!

Flower Centers are created with Pearlized Enamel Effects for a fun embellishment!

The butterfly is sparkled with Wink of Stella
These two items are inexpensive ways to add embellishments to any card!

Add then some die cut foliage from Painted Lavender dies!
