Tag Buffet is a Wonderful Kit that is on Sale for 50% off starting today, December 8.
You can purchase this kit (and many more items on sale) while supplies last by shopping at Stampin' Up! - don't let this one get away.
I love the kit - it is easy to put together and full of great looking tags that will add lots of style to all of your gift. Simple bags can be dressed up with these great tags. And you get a whopping 30 tags - this should put a dent in the gift wrap supplies.
In order to complete the tags, you need Stampin' Seal or Multipurpose Glue, ink, Stampin' Dimensionals (lots of them) and of course Stampin' Up!'s great scissors. You will also need a stamp set with greetings for the tags (see the picture).
Or you can purchase the coordinating stamp set called Tag Buffet. For ink, I used the recommended Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Garden Green.
There are instructions in the kit but here are some tips to get started:
2) Stamp the sentiments on the tags and add them to the stack for each tag.
3) Cut the gold cord (included in the kit) to 12 inches & set aside. You need 30 pieces.
4) Assemble the tags.
The hardest part - pulling the back off the Stampin' Dimensionals (LOL)!
Make this a family project - it would be so fun.
You can also stamp the back of the tags - the stamp set that coordinates, called Tag Buffet, has a lovely "To" and "From" stamp. But both stamps on one block to make the job go more quickly. You could add the perfect sentiment on the back of tag too.
This kit comes in a great box that you can turn into a great gift.
I used the Tag Buffet stamp set to stamp the greeting at an angle in Shaded Spruce on Whisper White cardstock (cut 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"). I used second generation stamping to get different shades of green (stamping 2 or 3 times before re-inking the stamp).
I mounted this on Real red Cardstock (cut 3 3/4" x 5 1/2") and wrapped it with wide real red ribbon. The kit included several extra tags (to help you if you make mistakes I'm sure). I used one to stamp "tis the Season" from the Tag Buffet stamp set and mounted with this Stampin' Dimensionals. A little bow of Gold cord added the final touch.
You can use this box to gift some of your famous fudge or a beautiful set of greeting cards. Or maybe a lovely scarf. Or give the tags inside as a gift - who wouldn't love it!
I had several die cuts left over and an extra tag. I couldn't resist using these to create a Christmas card. The card base is Thick Whisper White cardstock. The designer series paper is cut 5 1/4" x 4". This pattern comes from Trimming the Town (ON SALE at 10%).
Simply add the Tag with Stampin' Dimensionals and the Tree with Stampin Dimensionals. Stamp the greeting in Real Red on Whisper white cut 5 1/4" x 1". The finishing touch is Real Red Sheer Ribbon (beautiful!) and faceted gems from the annual catalog. You can see all the supplies below.
