When you are struck by that creative block
LOOK TO THE CATALOG FOR INSPIRATION
My version of this card (cased from the catalog on page 26 of the holiday mini) has a few variations but I loved being able to look to the catalog for inspiration.
I used the Felt for the snowy background. I cut the tree line with the Home Together Dies (153515). TIP - run it thru twice. Then I embossed the felt with the Winter Snow embossing folder (153577). I love the subtle effect of the embossing on the white felt. I hope you can see it in the picture below.
I attached this to the front panel of Designer Series Paper which is cut 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". After gluing the felt to the Designer Series Paper, I trimmed the excess with scissors.
I stamped the houses, colored them with blends and cut them with the Home Together Dies, These are attached with Stampin Dimensionals and glue. The ribbon and the greeting are attached with glue also. Notice that great greeting that I snipped from the Designer Series Paper?
Very quick and fun!
But the piece de resistance is the inside and the envelope using that great Designer Series Paper!
I would love to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator
When you SHOP with me online and spend $50 or more, use my host code WQHRBPSV (good until 11/30/20) and I'll have a fun gift for you! (But, of course, if you are ordering over $149, don't use the code so you can earn the host rewards for yourself and still get a fun gift from me.)
I would love to hear from you - leave a comment or follow my blog. Let me know what you like! And feel free to ask questions or request examples for a specific product or stamp set. Happy Stamping!
