Sale-a-Bration Blog Hop - Out With the Old and In With the New

This blog hop is celebrating the retiring products (you still have a few days to order!) and the new product that you can order on January 4, 2017

I am so sad to see some of the great Holiday Catalog products go! It's hard to let go of great products that inspire creativity. You can still order many of those great products - but hurry - the last day to order the retiring products from the Holiday catalog is January 3, 2017. And there are so many wonderful new products coming on January 4 ... just read on to see what I mean.

This card uses retiring Designer Series Paper called Petals & Paisleys which will retire on January 3. But you can still order this beautiful paper if you hurry. And it's on sale. I have combined it with the beautiful floral die cut images from the New Thinlit Die called So Detailed. You will be able to order this die on January 4 - what a fun combination - NO?

The colors featured in this card are Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy and Smokey Slate. I added embellishments called Metallic Enamel Shapes - these add a perfect touch of bling to finish this card.

More fun with the retiring Designer Series Paper called Petals & Paisleys. I added a bit of Kraft Rope Trim, also retiring. Hurry to place your order before January 3 if you still want these products.

And then we will be ready for the great new products coming in the Occasions Catalog like the "debossed" image in the card above to create the sentiment "celebrate".  This image comes from a new set of embossing folders called "Celebrations Duo". You are going to have so much fun with these folders.

The Kraft Rope Trim is perfect for packaging but it works great with cards two. You can separate the three strands that make up the rope into smaller strands of thick kraft colored twine. They are very kinky when you first separate them but you can lightly spritz the strands with water to straighten them out. The ends fray easily to give the distressed look I wanted in the card above. Be sure to order before it retires.

Be ready to have a great time shopping in the new year. Along with great products, Stampin' Up! is offering free product from the Sale-a-bration Catalog for every $50 you spend. You are going to love this season!

And don't forget, the Delightful Dijon cardstock featured in the card above is going to retire at the end of May - take advantage of the great cardstock bundle featured in the Holiday Catalog with Delightful Dijon, Rich Razzleberry, and Very Vanilla - a perfect combo.
