Cards Using Strips of Leftover Cardstock

I "CASEd" (copy and share) this card from Heidi Collins at On Y Go! Stamping.

It is a fabulous idea for using scraps of cardstock.

And - it is SIMPLE and Quick

Thanks to Heidi for this great idea.

I picked out 7 strips of Whisper White cardstock that were at least 4" long. I trimmed them to 3/4" wide and ran them through 7 different embossing folders.

Then I glued them to a panel of Whisper White cardstock that is 4" x 5 1/4" and trimmed off any overlap on the edges.

Wrap the resulting panel with White Bakers Twine.

Attach the panel to the card base (thick Whisper White).

Stamp and attach your Label with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Finish the inside and the envelope and you have a beautiful card!

Try using a different color of cardstock - what a great way to use scraps and Save Money!

Note the touch of butterflies on the tag and envelope. This motif is carried onto the inside also. Adding these touches is a great way to make your card extra special

Try using a variety of colors! Wow - what a fun look. Be creative and enjoy!

Notice how I added a bit of embossing to the flap of the envelope. It's a great way to personalize each envelope.
