Card Kit Mania and Lots of Happy

This weekend we are having a Card Kit Mania class and I'm delighted to share the following picture of a Bonus Card that I designed for the person using this kit, Lots of Happy 146388, in the class.

It's easy to create more cards with the supplies that you receive in this kit. There are so many vellum leaves to use with your cards. You can save out a few to create with.

The stamp set is lovely. I used the floral images to stamp repeatedly across the bottom of this note card. Then I used the Watercolor pencils to color in the images - easy peasy!

I love the stamp set that comes with this kit. And this stamp set is exclusive to this kit. You cannot purchase it separately.

With a strip of patterned paper (I used the Butterfly Butterfly Designer Series Paper which is a Free item during Sale-a-bration) and a circular focal point for the greeting, you can create a lovely card!

Here is a video from Stampin' Up! which explains a bit more about this kit.

Remember that when you purchase all inclusive Card kits from Stampin' Up! you get all the supplies you need to make delightful cards. You can see how to use the blender pens with the Watercolor pencils. But of course, you can use a damp paint brush with these pencils as well.

Here's one more that I will be using for a bonus card at this Saturday's class.

More of that striped paper & water coloring. Hope you are inspired.

Don't forget - purchase $50 in Stampin' Up! product and get a free item from the Sale-a-bration catalog. Be sure to shop today!

Your Cards Can Make a Difference

We all love to make cards and share with friends and family

However, there is a wonderful organization that will spread your love in so many ways. They send these cards to children, shut-ins, hospitals and more. And you can help out. This charity is run by a competitor but I still want to support her cause -
Meals on Wheels
Foster Children
Birthday Party Project (for homeless children)

You can read more on this page

And If you are looking for inspiration

This card would work perfectly for the Birthday Party Project.
Download the instructions and supplies for this card HERE.

You can get this stamp set called Love You Lots for free when you host a qualifying party or make a qualifying purchase - just read more HERE to find out how.

And hurry - for every $50 you spend this month, you will receive a $5 coupon towards a purchase in August -- no limit to the number of coupons you can earn.

You still have time to sign up for my August CLASS-TO-GODon't Delay - spaces are limited

July Card Class with Love You Lots

Are you ready to come stamp with me and make some cards?

I'll be hosting a card class every month on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month. If you live in Frederick, CO, come join me. The first class will feature the set called LOVE YOU LOTS.

So CUTE - just see what I mean?
You can have lots of fun coloring the images or leave them plain. And coloring with the Blender Pen and Stampin' Up ink pads is fun and easy.

Click HERE learn more about my Classes.

Coloring an outline image is so easy with blender pens. Have you tried it yet? I really encourage you to do it. You will be delighted with the effect.

Blender pens come in packages of two pens. Each pen has two tips - one set of pens will last you a very long time. You use the pens like paint brushes. Dip the tip into a small amount of ink either from the lid of the stamp pad or the pad itself (if you want more intense color) and then color the image.

When you want to change colors, just wipe the tip of the pen on a piece of scrap paper or paper towel until it does not leave any ink on the scrap paper. Then you are ready to pick up the new color and paint again.

You can see in this picture that I colored the elephant with Slate Grey ink. I added just a dab of pink to the mouse's ear - just for fun.

I did a bit more coloring with the hedgehogs (so cute), adding some green in the foreground to simulate grass and just a touch of blue to the background to simulate the sky. It's so fun, it's hard to know when to stop.

Be sure to check out my class if you live close by and if not, pick up a set of pens for yourself and dabble in coloring - I think you'll fall in love with the technique.

Did you know that you can earn this darling stamp set by just hosting a qualifying Party? It's true! I know that you are going to want this stamp set! Find out more HERE

If you love what you see, I know you'll want to shop at my online store HERE
