Changing Leaves Bundle with Hybrid Embossing Folder
This card was inspired by Alisa Tilsner at alisatilsner.com. She is an amazing artist with our products. And this bundle can make you feel like an artist too.
Start with Watercolor paper and create a background using Tahitian Tide and Summer Splash. Spritz your watercolor paper lightly on both sides. Add a drop of each color, using the ink refill bottle, onto your glass mat or other non-pourus surface. Use the watercolor brushes to mix the colors with a bit of water and spread the colors onto the watercolor paper to get a variety of gradients.
You can always play with this until you find the right technique and style to suit your taste.
Let the paper dry completely. Then cut with the hybrid embossing folder. (See the note below on how a hybrid embossing folder works.)
Emboss, without cutting, a panel of Basic White cardstock cut 4" x 5 1/4"
Mount this on a card base of Thick Basic White card stock cut 4 1/4" x 11" folded in half.
Add two tags to the top right side with glue. Tags are cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.
Add a "bouquet" of leaves with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add another tag cut from Tahetian Tide cardstock
Stamp the greeting from the changing leaves stamp set in Versamark on Night of Navy cardstock and heat emboss with White Embossing powder. Cut this greeting out with the tag die in the Changing Leaves die set.
Wrap some silver twine onto the back of the tag. Then attach the tag with Stampin' Dimensionals and a bit of glue/Stampin' Seal along the bottom edge.
