Using Scraps for Great Results

I loved this card design inspired by a fellow demonstrator. She used some beautiful Valentine paper to create her lovey card but I wanted to use these scraps from the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. I love how it turned out.

This design is great for cards for any age and any gender! I think you could use it over and over.

And who doesn't love to use up their scraps. These scraps are free with a $50 purchase - but only until Feb 28 - so hurry.

Use the Tailored Tag punch to create 12 shapes.
Cut a rectangle of cardstock that is 4" x 5 1/4"
Lay the shapes to get the general idea of how you want them to be placed.
Use glue to attach the shapes, starting with the center shape and continuing they are all added.
Turn the cardstock over and trim off the overlap.

I still had a few empty spots - I filled them with some of the bits that I trimmed from the edges.

Did you see that HEY CHICK is back - along with Hey, Birthday CHICK and look at how Stampin' Up! used a similar idea for this cute card

TIPS
1 - do your gluing on a silicon mat to prevent gluing your project to the desk top.
2. Pay attention to the direction of the pattern if that is appropriate.

I used the stamp set called Approaching Perfection to create the greeting. You can get this stamp set for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration.

HURRY SALEABRATION ENDS ON FEB 28!

Don't forget to Finnish the inside,

I would love to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator
